そんなオタマトーンのもとに、ある日、ノックマンがやって来ます。
ひとつの音でおもしろリズムを作るノックマンは、
オタマトーンと出会い、音のともだち“音もだち”になりました。
みんなと音を作る楽しさを知ったノックマンは、
個性的な仲間たちを次々と呼び寄せました。
今日も“音もだち”のにぎやかなセッションが生まれます。

The musical note-shaped "Otamatone" was always full of curiosity and hoping to meet new sounds from around the world. One day the bright-eyed Otamatone meets Knock-man, who uses a single note to create interesting rhythms. They quickly become “sound friends”. Knowing the joy of creating sounds with others, Knock-man invites his other unique friends to join in, and a lively session of "Sound Friendship" is born.~A story of different “sounds” from around the world becoming “sound friends”. ~

毎回ユニークな「音もだち」をまねき、
彼らの音が持つおもしろさを伝え、
最後に一曲演奏します。
Each episode Otamatone is joined by
a unique sound (ie. character)
as they
attempt to find melody and harmony.

Otamatone is a singing musical note. He is very curious and is always looking to make friends with new sounds from all over the world. When Otamatone meets new friends, you can be sure a fun ensemble of "sound friendship" will be born.

The Otamatone is a cute, quirky, and fun to play electronic musical toy characterized by its eighth note-shaped body, adorable moving mouth, and silly, buzzing, amusingly off-key voice.Developed by the design firm Maywa Denki, it was first released in Japan in 2009 and has been the country’s best-selling musical toy ever since.
情熱的なリズムでノリもいいが、実はこつこつと努力派。リズムもこつこつ。
ふたりあつまると、一気にリズムが豊かになる。いつも誰かと音楽をやりたい社交派。
He can play with passion and groove, but is actually a diligent hard worker with a steady beat.When him and Otamatone get together, the rhythm is rich and spirits are high. Sociable and always looking to play music with others.
ちっさいくせいに自己主張がはげしい。
短音では「ちりーん」とかわいいが、
おこると連打で「じりりりん！」とうるさい。
おしゃまさん。
Small but self-assertive.
Sounds as cute as looks with short chimes of “chirin”, but when angry rings hard like a noisy alarm!
Sweet and mischievous.
わが道を行く、B型体質。
とにかく個性的。
一方でベース（低音）を出せるから、
実は場の空気を引っ張る存在でもある。
A “type-B” personality that walks their own path.
In any case, very individualistic.
As independent as they act though, their low bass tone influences the tone of all those around them.
ここ一発にかける性格。ギャンブルも、一点勝負。しかしいまいち、どんくさい点があり、ミスも多い。失敗も多いが「ドンマイ」と立ち直りも早い。
A character that always goes all in with one shot.
Whatever they do it’s always all or nothing.
Their clumsy side leads to many fumbles and mistakes, but they quickly bounce back with a “can do” attitude.
